Dera violence: Admn receives 110 claims

Panchkula, September 19 The Panchkula district administration has received 110 claims, submitted by people whose property and vehicles were damaged during the Panchkula violence on August 25 after Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was convicted by a special CBI court for the rape of two sadhvis. In the meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of ADC Rajesh Jogpal, the claim applications were discussed. Of 110 claims, 25 were submitted by the journalists whose vehicles were damaged by the mob. At the meeting, FIRs, amount of claim and time and place of incident were discussed in detail.
