Image for representational purposes only)The Haryana Chief Minister’s Flying Squad on Sunday raided several sweet shops in the state ahead of Diwali and took samples of several milk products and food items being sold by them. The squad conducted the raids along with officials of the Food and Drug Administration Department, and took samples of ‘khoya’, ‘paneer’ and other food items from 75 shops in the state, a release said in Chandigarh. In Ambala, 50 kilograms of sugar was found to be adulterated while in Gurugram, three quintal paneer, and 50 kg khoya and as much paneer were found adulterated, it said.

The team raied 12 shops in Fatehabad, six each in Hansi, Sirsa, Jind, Rohtak and Gurugram; five in Sonipat; four each in Jhajjar, Dadari and Karnal; three each in Kaithal, Faridabad, Palwal and Narnaul; two in Rewari and one each in Ambala and Kurukshetra, the release said.
