Mohali housing society members hold protest

The protesters demanded immediate arrest of Parminder Kaur and all other members of the old executive of the society. The members said they would not have lost their money if the GMADA was more vigilant and monitored the progress of the project. The memorandum of demands included time-bound investigation and filing of challan in all cases registered against Navjit and his family.

The protesters said GMADA officials had connived with former society president Navjit Singh and his immediate family and provided them an opportunity to defraud members of the society. The protesters alleged that the company had promised to handover the possession of their properties within two years, but now had lost their life’s savings by investing in the project. The members said they would not have lost their money if the GMADA was more vigilant and monitored the progress of the project. The protesters demanded immediate arrest of Parminder Kaur and all other members of the old executive of the society. The memorandum of demands included time-bound investigation and filing of challan in all cases registered against Navjit and his family.
