With the temperature rising rapidly over the past few days, the city police began distribution of buttermilk to personnel manning traffic signals from Friday. A total of 2,500 traffic police personnel, from constables to Assistant Commissioners of Police, will be given buttermilk at their work spots to help them beat fatigue.
