Natarajan continues to be on ventilator support, hosp says

CHENNAI: The health condition of M Natarajan , husband of former Jayalalithaa aide V K Sasikala , continues to be critical. He is on ventilator support and his condition is critical." The 74-year-old is now on ventilator support in the intensive care unit of Gleneagles Global Health City.An official press release from hospital CEO Shanmuga Priyan said, " Natarajan Maruthappa was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital on March 16 with severe chest infection. They tell us that Sasikala is attempting to get special leave permission to visit him," a doctor said. Senior political leaders including MDMK leader Vaiko visited the hospital and spoke to treating doctors and his relatives.

Natarajan underwent a dual organ transplant in 2017. "The family has been informed. We are doing our best.
