A 10-year-old boy, who fell from an escalator on the second floor of a shopping mall in Royapettah a few days ago, died on Friday.
He was thrown from the second floor to the ground floor, the police said.

The boy suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the Government Royapettah Hospital where he died.
The police said S. Naveen Kanna, a resident of Driver’s Colony in Korukkupet, went to the shopping mall with his sister S. Geetha, 22, residing in Madurai, on April 10.
