Students held for snatching cell phone

The police have arrested his accomplice and recovered the mobile phone from him. The Guindy police on Monday caught two suspects — a student of a city college and another student pursuing chartered accountancy — for snatching a mobile phone from the staff of a mobile phone service provider near Ekkattuthangal. When Jebin Mosak, 32, of Jafferkhanpet, was waiting at Ekkatuthangal to board a bus, a duo snatched his mobile phone and fled. An alert member of the public managed to nab the pillion rider and handed him over to the police.
