Two held for sending objectionable messages to actor on WhatsApp

The police have arrested two brokers for sending objectionable messages by WhatsApp to an actor offering her money. Jayalakshmi, who has acted in Tamil films including Nepali, Pirivom Sandippom and a few television serials, received WhatsApp messages from an unknown number. Besides, they elicited prospective customers through WhatsApp, calling it “relationship dating.”Both were arrested and remanded in judicial custody. Pretending to be prospective customers, a police team apprehended Murugaperuman and Kaviarasan of Virugambakkam. The investigation revealed that the duo sent similar messages to several women.

Pretending to be prospective customers, a police team apprehended Murugaperuman and Kaviarasan of Virugambakkam. The investigation revealed that the duo sent similar messages to several women. Besides, they elicited prospective customers through WhatsApp, calling it “relationship dating.” Both were arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
