CHENNAI: A car that was parked on a slope near the Tiruttani Lord Murugan temple rolled down and fell into a gorge on Thursday.No one was injured in the accident. They informed police.Fire and rescue services personnel recovered the car using a crane. After a while, the car slowly moved down and fell into a gorge.Later, Vijayakumar and his relatives came to know that the car had fallen into the gorge. People who came in the car -- Vijayakumar, 35, of Srikalahasti in Andhra Pradesh and his relatives -- were in the temple when it fell into the gorge.Vijayakumar parked his car in the parking area on the Tiruttani hillock. Apparently, he did not put the handbrake on properly.
