The party is also ready to face the local body elections at any time, state president of the party Tamilisai Soundararajan said on Saturday.The party held a meeting with the district presidents of the 20 constituencies to assess the situation in their respective districts and constituencies on Friday.“We heard their views and discussed the election strategies for the bypolls. The party has started preparedness to face the election at any time,” Tamilisai told TOI.“The BJP would create a big impact in Tamil Nadu. The party will form a very strong alliance in the state for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections,” she said.On speculations about the AIADMK and the BJP forming an alliance for the Lok Sabha elections, she said, “We are also confident of forming a strong alliance in the state for the 2019 elections. We are in talks with certain parties, but talks are in the initial stage.”The party was not bothered about opposition camps, meetings of opposition parties’ leaders and talk about alliance, Tamilisai said, adding, “the leaders of the existing alliance led by the DMK in the state is meeting Stalin in the recent past. It is not a new alliance. But they cannot fool the people. He sheds tears on seeing the disabled children and I wondered where he was all these years and why he did not see these children all these years,” she added.
