Dry day: No liquor sale in Chennai on Nov 21

CHENNAI: All Tasmac liquor shops in Chennai will remain closed on Wednesday on account of Milad-un-Nabi Bars attached to clubs and hotels must be closed on the day, Chennai district collector A Shanmuga Sundaram said in a statement on Saturday.“There shall be no sale of liquor on that day. If any violation is noticed, necessary action will be taken as per rules," the statement further said.
