A mess in IIT-Madras is now having the same system".The student body shared pictures of posters stuck in the Himalaya mess building.“What started as a demand for 'pure' vegetarian mess has become a fullfledged untouchability . IIT-M is trying to become a world-class institute, but the culture is still regressive in many aspects," APSC added.In response, an IIT-M official said students on campus had the liberty to choose what they want to eat and IIT-M had no role in it. "It is up to the students.
