Trichy: 2 deaths in 3 days due to H1N1 infection

TRICHY: Two people, who were tested positive for H1N1 infection, died in Trichy over the course of last three days. He was also said to have suffering from respiratory illness.Including Rangarajan, at least seven deaths due to H1N1 infection have been reported in Trichy till date. He was tested positive for H1N1 around four days back and he died on Thursday night. Amudha had symptoms of cough and was taken to Aranthangi government hospital for treatment on November 28 and a couple of days later, she was taken to a private hospital for fever where she was tested positive for H1N1 infection and died on Saturday morning. The deceased were identified as Amudha, 38, who hailed from Aranthangi in Pudukottai district and Rangarajan, 68, from near Thuraiyur in Trichy district.According to health officials, both had comorbid conditions which led to their condition turning fatal.

He was tested positive for H1N1 around four days back and he died on Thursday night. He was also said to have suffering from respiratory illness.Including Rangarajan, at least seven deaths due to H1N1 infection have been reported in Trichy till date.
