A Met forecast said the sky condition is likely to be partly cloudy on Tuesday. Maximum and inimum temperatures are likely to be around 33°C and 25°C.On Monday, the live temperature graph showed mercury level touched 33°C between 12.30pm and 1pm and then there was another peak at 2.30pm when it touched 32°C after going down to 30°C.However, the temperature was higher on Sunday as it went above 33°C after 12.30pm.The humidity level was high but hovered around 65% to 78% between 10.30am to 3.30pm and was higher than it was on Sunday. The humidity range is the reason for people to feel the day to be hotter than usual, said a met official.The temperature has begun to increase over the last five days. It was 30.3°C on Wednesday and increased to 32.7°C on Sunday.The nights are getting warmer as the temperature was at 28.4°C at 8.30pm on Monday. The official said temperature has begun to climb at other cities also. "Salem has recorded the highest with 38.3°C. Trichy, Vellore Dharmapuri and Coimbatore have been experiencing higher temperature as well," he added.
