DMK’s Stalin opposes NEP; writes to all political parties to come together

He also accused the Tamil Nadu government of surrendering to the centre as it has not come out with any official statement against the new education policy.

DMK president M K Stalin launched a campaign against New Education Policy (NEP) introduced by the Centre.

DMK will consult all political parties in the country over the NEP to protect students’ future, said Stalin in a letter to party cadre on Saturday.

“Let us come together against dividing the country. Just like our success in the reservation policy, we will also succeed in opposing the new education policy. Let us save social justice and education,” said the party chief.

He also accused the Tamil Nadu government of surrendering to the centre as it has not come out with any official statement against the new education policy.

“There is no way to know what the state government is thinking about the new education policy, The public is confused over the issue,” he added.
