VIT counselling 2020 for B.Tech admissions started

Vellore Institute of Technology has started the VITEEE 2020 counselling process in online mode on August 10. This year, the authorities have decided to conduct VITEEE counselling 2020 completely online due to the ongoing pandemic.

Vellore Institute of Technology has started the VITEEE 2020 counselling process in online mode on August 10. This year, the authorities have decided to conduct VITEEE counselling 2020 completely online due to the ongoing pandemic. The counselling of VIT 2020 will be done in four phases and the candidates will be called to participate in the process on the basis of their ranks.

To participate in the VIT 2020 counselling process, candidates are required to pay the registration fee of Rs. 5000. Candidates will be able to access the VITEEE counselling 2020 by using the login credentials which have already been mailed to their registered contact number. Applicants should fill and submit their choices in two days. Thereafter B.Tech seat allotment will be announced.

All the candidates who will be allotted seats will have to pay the advance admission fee which is 50 percent of the tuition fee within the three day window. The last day to pay the fee is September 10. If required, students can also call any VIT campus to talk to trained counsellors and faculty who can help students with making the right choice.

According to Kadambari Vishwanathan, Asst Vice President, VIT Vellore, a total of 1,83,000 applications were received for admission into the B.Tech 2020 admissions. The authorities announced the rank list of VITEEE 2020 on August 5. This year, the authorities have cancelled the VITEEE 2020 exam on account of COVID-19. The admissions are being done on the basis of candidate score in class 12 PCM/PCB.
