Petrol price touches Rs 102 in Rajasthan Madhya Pradesh News Today

On Friday petrol price was hiked by a steep 29 paise per litre and diesel by 31 paise a litre according to a price notification by state-owned fuel retailers. The recent hikes this month have erased all the reduction in fuel rates that came during the four revisions between 24 March and 15 April. In the past four days petrol price has increased by 87 paise per litre and diesel has climbed by Re 1 in New Delhi. Consumers in Chennai on Friday shelled out Rs 93.15 per litre for petrol and Rs 86.65 per litre for diesel. In Kolkata the prices reached Rs 91.41 per litre for petrol and Rs 84.57 per litre for diesel.

Chennai: Petrol price has scaled to Rs 102 per litre in some parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh after rates were raised for the fourth straight day after ending of more than two-week-long hiatus during Assembly elections in States like Tamilnadu and West Bengal.
