Stalin to meet President Union Ministers too in Delhi News Today

Chennai: Tamilnadu Chief Minister M K Stalin who will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his New Delhi visit tomorrow is also slated to meet President Ram Nath Kovind and some Union Ministers too sources said. The president of the DMK which is part of the United Progressive Alliance is also likely to call on its chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Friday morning reports said. Issues like NEET examination GST rates Cauvery Basin and unlock restrictions in TN are also likely to be discussed in the upcoming meeting. Last week Stalin had written to Prime Minister Modi seeking suspension of all national level entrance exams including the medical entrance exam – NEET 2021. A few days ago Stalin wrote another to Modi seeking immediate directions to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to cancel the bid process for extraction of hydrocarbon in Vadatheru Block of the Cauvery Basin in Pudukkottai district.

During his meeting with the PM the Chief Minister is expected to raise issues relating to vaccine supply and allocation of essential medicines for Covid-19 and mucormycosis patients in Tamilnadu.
