A horrific incident has come to light from Chennai, where a 13-year-old girl started vomiting blood moments after consuming a cold drink and died later.
A horrific incident has come to light from Chennai, where a 13-year-old girl started vomiting blood moments after consuming a cold drink and died later.
Dharani is the youngest daughter of Satish and Gayatri couple, who hails from Besant Nagar, Chennai. A 13-year-old girl bought a cold drink from a nearby grocery store yesterday. In no time, a red color came out of the girl`s nose. After this the girl started vomiting and she fainted. When Dharani`s sister saw this and brought her mother, the girl`s whole body turned blue. She was shocked to see this and immediately admitted the girl to the hospital.
The doctors who examined the girl said that she had already died. On receiving information, the police recovered the body of the girl and sent it for post-mortem. The police have registered a case against the teenager and confiscated the soft drink and sent it to the laboratory. Police are probing whether the girl died after drinking soft drink or some other reason. All foods sold in stores must have an expiration date.
While there is a law that expired foods should not be sold or eaten, various stores do not follow this. Although shops are ordered by the authorities to sell quality products, most of the stores do not follow it properly. Thus, the public is advised to be alert as such tragic incidents do happen from time to time.
