The renovated swimming pool has modern facility to recycle and self cleaning through auto-circulation method. The Corporation swimming pool at Gandhi Park renovated at a cost of ? 1.78 crore was opened to public on Monday by Minister for Municipal Administration and Rural Development S.P. The swimming pool remained closed for renovation for the last three years. According to S. Antony Louis, the manager of the swimming pool, the summer training programme for women, children and men would begin shortly. The registration for swimming coaching programme for woman begins on Wednesday and the coaching begins from Friday, Mr. Louis said.
