Heavy winds for almost an hour and rain led to power disruptions in several parts of the city on Thursday evening. Repair works started by 6.15 p.m. and by 9 p.m. power supply was restored in 90 % of the areas, the official said. This was mainly because of tree branches falling on power lines due to the winds.
