We have also organised yoga training conducted by Isha Foundation at our training field and even in ships for over 600 officers,” he told TOI.Deputy commandant of BSF Kamalesh Kumar said, “Including yoga in our regular training schedule has brought a tremendous change in our officers. The volunteers of the foundation taught Upa yoga to the inmates of the Coimbatore Central Prison.As many as 200 to 300 officers, who come to INS Agrani for the two-month training, are taught yoga, commanding officer Commodore Rajiv Choudhary said. Cadets say that their health and the ability to stay even over 60 days in ships and withstand storms have improved. “We have included yoga in our regular curriculum.
