This year, chances are high that the number of students who fail the examination would increase.”Only those, who do not want to study the mainstream groups, would prefer for vocational courses, the teacher says. “The department has managed to divide the Computer syllabus, under which students opted for Arts and Accountancy related vocational groups would study about computer applications and other vocational group students would study about computer technology. But it was not done for Biology syllabus.”M Madavan of Tamil Nadu Agriculture Graduate Teachers Association says that without the minimal material, the students will have to study every line in the book and without which, clearing the examination will be impossible. “Also, there is no need for the agriculture students to study the concepts in detail.
