He was hit by a vehicle on L&T Bypass Road near Sathyanarayanapuram on Thursday night. “On July 12, Roshan was on the way to his room when he was hit by a vehicle from behind. The driver fled from the spot,” said a police officer. “He suffered severe head injuries and was taken to the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH). He died at the hospital on Saturday morning,” the officer added.In the second incident, P Narayanan, 52, of Madukkarai was killed after a motorcycle hit him on Coimbatore – Palakkad Road. Narayanan, a labourer, was crossing the road when the incident happened on Friday. He suffered head injuries and was admitted at CMCH. Despite treatment, he died on Saturday. TNN
