more-in A newly-wed man got into trouble with his wife for tattooing a girl’s name on his hand. His wife thrashed him in public shortly after their visit to a temple on Wednesday morning. Onlookers who thought the woman was dealing with an eve-teaser realised that it was her husband. The incident happened at Saibaba Colony. The police were informed about the incident and took the couple to the police station. There they found that the couple had got married only 10 days ago. “The man hailing from Kinathukkadavu was initially married to another woman who left him following differences of opinion. The woman who beat him in public was his second wife. As per the statement by the man, who works as a cleaner for private buses, he had tattooed the name of a third woman on his hand,” the police said. The woman hailing from Pollachi told the police that her husband was not showing interest in her a few days after the marriage. “The woman had gone to her parents’ house from where she had come to the temple to settle things. However, the woman lost her temper after the man refused to talk about why another woman’s name was tattooed on his hand,” added the police. A video of the incident went viral on social media and messaging platforms. The wife wanted to register a case but was advised by the police to approach the police station in her jurisdiction.
