Tattoo lands man in trouble

Name of a girl tattooed on his hand landed a newly-wed man from Coimbatore in trouble. His wife, who picked up an argument over the tattoo thrashed the man in public shortly after their visit to a temple on Wednesday morning. The woman, who wanted to register a case against the man was advised by the Saibaba Colony police to approach her home police station. The Saibaba Colony police, who were informed about the man being beaten up by a woman, took both of them to the station. The incident happened at Saibaba Colony on Wednesday morning when the couple came to a temple to offer prayers.

Onlookers, who initially thought that the woman was dealing with an eveteaser later realised to their shock that it was her husband. The incident happened at Saibaba Colony on Wednesday morning when the couple came to a temple to offer prayers. The Saibaba Colony police, who were informed about the man being beaten up by a woman, took both of them to the station. When questioned, the police found that the couple had got married 10 days ago. “The man, hailing from Kinathukkadavu, was initially married to another woman who left him following differences of opinion. The woman who beat him was his second wife. As per the statement by the man, who works as a cleaner in private buses, had tattooed the name of a third woman in hand,” said the police. The woman, hailing from Pollachi, told the police that her husband was not showing interest in her a few days after the marriage. “The woman had gone to her parents’ house from where she had come to the temple to settle the issues with the man. However, the woman lost her temper after the man refused to talk about the woman whose name was tattooed on his hand,” added the police. A video of the woman beating up the man went viral on social media and messaging platforms. The woman, who wanted to register a case against the man was advised by the Saibaba Colony police to approach her home police station.
