Udhagamandalam: Recalling his association with the Nilgiris, British high commission defence advisor Brigadier Mark said the Nilgiris is a place to be celebrated and it will see another sesquicentennial in a more prosperous and happy way. Incidentally, Goldsack was in Ooty on this day on a personal visit.Goldsack said, “I was at one time a resident of the Nilgiris. Across the board, I could see, in this hour of celebration, a thriving vibrant community looking to the future.” tnn I studied at the Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) during 1998-99.
