KMDK wants State Govt. to reduce tax on fuel

Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi (KMDK) has urged the State Government to reduce the tax for petrol and diesel. Eswaran said that the fuel price is on the rise for the past one month leading to increase in cost of essential commodities. The petition urged the State government to follow those States and reduce the price of fuel. It also said that due to hike in price of fuel, lorry industry had crippled affecting the livelihood of lakh of workers. Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Karnataka had reduced the taxes.

Eswaran said that the fuel price is on the rise for the past one month leading to increase in cost of essential commodities. Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Karnataka had reduced the taxes. The petition urged the State government to follow those States and reduce the price of fuel. It also said that due to hike in price of fuel, lorry industry had crippled affecting the livelihood of lakh of workers.
