“If we approach the DGP to lodge a complaint, he himself is facing corruption charges. Levelling corruption charges against electricity minister P Thangamani and health minister C Vijayabaskar, he questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on these issues. In a scathing attack, Stalin said corruption has become all pervasive in the current AIADMK rule so much so that Directorate of Vigilance and Anti – Corruption officers were facing severe allegations. As soon as DMK comes to power those officials who are counting currency notes now would be behind bars,’’ he said. “The Centre is getting its share of the spoils,’’ he said.Stalin said DMK was keeping a close watch on ministers as well as IAS and IPS officials involved in corruption.
