Couple die as truck hits two-wheeler near Udumalpet in TN

The truck sped away.The couple, who fell on the road, were rushed to Udumalpet Government Hospital where they were declared brought dead.The Udumalpet police registered a case. Veeran was riding the two-wheeler while Kaliammal was riding pillion on it.When they were crossing Ragalpavi village, an unidentified truck that came from behind hit the motorcycle. TIRUPUR: A couple died when a truck hit a two-wheeler they were travelling on near Udumalpet in Tirupur district of Tamil Nadu on Saturday night.The deceased have been identified as T Veeran, 55, of Vilamarathupatti and his wife Kaliammal, 50.The accident happened when the couple, who were agricultural labourers, were going to Udumalpet to attend a function in their relative's house.
