Coimbatore: The 110 Infantry (territorial army), Redfields, Coimbatore, will be conducting recruitment for 31 soldier (general duty), three solider (clerical staff duty), two soldier (chef community) and one solider (washer man) vacancies for enlisting in the territorial army.Candidates who belong to Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka and the Union territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Goa, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep and Puducherry can appear for the same from November 22 to 28.Physical test will be conducted only on November 22 at the PRS Ground, Coimbatore from 6am. On subsequent days, medical test and personal interview will be conducted for candidates who clear the physical test. Candidates who are employed in civil or self-employed, ex-NCC cadets (good firers), outstanding sportsmen, artist/painters, LMV/HMV license holders, musicians and dependents of servicemen/ex-servicemen will be given preference.Personnel employed in civil organization will have to produce a ‘no objection’ certificate from their employer. Personnel seeking enrolment should be present at the PRS Ground, Coimbatore at 6am on November 22.They have to keep their passport size photographs (10 numbers), joint passport size photograph (self and next of kin – 5 numbers), family joint photograph (size 5 cm x7 cm – 4 numbers), PAN card of individual (original), all original documents of Aadhaar card (self and family members), transfer certificate and all mark sheets, community certificate (duly affixed photograph), conduct certificate, nativity certificate (duly affixed photograph), Married people should bring marriage registration certificate (original), wife’s school mark sheet (original), child birth certificate (original), joint bank account (self and wife and bank passbook), Aadhaar card in respect of all dependents (original – self, wife, children, brother, sister and parents).The candidates should be in the age limit of 18 to 42 years. Their physical standards are required as height – 160cm, weight – 50kg and chest – minimum 77cm with 5cm expansion. The soldier GD cadre post should have the educational qualification of SSLC/10{+t}{+h} pass with 45 % marks aggregate. Candidates having higher education for general duty (10+2) and above should have minimum 40 percent.Soldier (clerk SD) post is required the educational qualification of higher secondary school /12{+t}{+h} pass with 50 % marks aggregate and should have minimum of 40 % in each subject. For the post of tradesman, the candidates should have SSLC /10{+t}{+h} pass with original certificate and should have obtained proficiency in the trade.
