Coimbatore: Police on Tuesday arrested one more person in connection with the highway robbery that took place near KG Chavadi on the outskirts of the city a month ago.The accused was identified as Kathar Basha, 27, a native of Vellore. Based on a tip-off, a police team arrested him from Vellore. The district police have arrested 17 people in connection with the case till now.According to the police, Feroz, 27, the robbery mastermind, had involved five people from Kerala, four from Bengaluru and six from Vellore, apart from his family members to waylay a car belonging to a Kerala-based jewellery firm and steal 3.107kg jewellery worth Rs 98lak on January 7.Police had been struggling to find the whereabouts of Kathar Basha.
