COIMBATORE: Two people died in an accident after a container truck hit a two-wheeler and a goods autorickshaw at Pappampatti Pirivu on Trichy Road in the city on Friday night.According to the Sulur police, the container truck was heading to Coimbatore. The truck came to halt after ramming into a roadside tree.Two people died on the spot in the accident. The driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle while taking a left turn at Pappampatti Pirivu and hit a two-wheeler and a goods autorickshaw. However, the driver of the truck managed to escape. The bodies were sent to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
