Lok Sabha elections: Photo-corners attract women in Tirupur

TIRUPUR: As part of Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme, the Tirupur district election cell has erected a photo-corner frames to create awareness on exercising voting right.The frame has the picture of a sari-clad woman in three dimension. The woman is shown raising her left index finger to suggest that she has exercised her voting right.The frame does not have head, so any woman can stand behind the frame and take photographs.One of the photo corners erected at the e-service centre in Tirupur north taluk office has evoked good response from women
