He was accompanied by DMK Tirupur north district secretary and former Tirupur mayor K Selvaraj TIRUPUR: DMK-alliance candidate K Subbarayan met morning walkers at Nanjappa Corporation Boys Higher Secondary School in the city on Wednesday as part of his election campaign.The former CPI MP was greeted by many walkers as he promised them to bring back Tirupur knitwear cluster on track, as he claimed that demonetisation and improper implementation of GST have caused serious damage to the industry.
