TIRUPUR: A 30-year-old labourer from Bihar committed suicide after a tiff with his wife over phone in Tamil Nadu 's Tirupur district on Friday.The deceased was identified as Umesh Sahani. Umesh had been working in a poultry farm in K Ayyampalayam near Palladam. He was staying in an accommodation inside the farm, said a police officer.On Friday, Umesh and his friends celebrated Holi and he spoke to his wife, who lives in Bihar, through video call.After seeing his gulal on his wife's face, he asked with whom she celebrated Holi. They had a heated argument after which he cut the phone call, said the officer.Umesh's wife called him back many times but he did not respond. Later, she called up one of his friends.When Umesh's friend checked, he noticed Umesh was hanging from the ceiling of his room. Palladam police registered a case in this regard and investigations are on.
