EC biased towards ruling parties, says CPM

Police officers and government officials, who have been working for a long time in a constituency, should be transferred to check favouritism.

We will prepare a detailed complaint and submit it to the election commission on Wednesday,” Balakrishnan said.Byelection has been announced for 18 assembly constituencies out of the 21 vacant constituencies because if AIADMK loses in all the 21 constituencies, it would lose power, the CPM leader said.The demonetisation drive did not curb black money, but rather affected micro and small businesses, powerloom and knitwear sectors, he said.
