EC biased towards ruling parties, says CPM

Coimbatore: The election commission is biased towards BJP and AIADMK candidates, CPM state secretary K Balakrishnan said here on Tuesday.“While the candidates from the two parties violated the code of conduct when they filed nominations, EC did not take action and has not heeded to written complaints,” the Left leader told reporters. Police officers and government officials, who have been working for a long time in a constituency, should be transferred to check favouritism.
