Coimbatore: Election flying squad and surveillance teams seized Rs 3.98lakh from five people and 396 liquor bottles from two from several parts of the district on Wednesday.While flying squads seized Rs 82,000 from Kinathukedavu and 62,000 from Valparai, static surveillance teams seized Rs 54,000 from Sulur and Rs 1,99,500 from Pollachi.Liquor bottles were seized from two people at Pollachi and Mettupalayam.The squads have seized Rs 1.83crore and 1,497 liquor bottles from several places across the district so far.
