Kamal visited Kasthurinaickenpudur near Pannimadai on Friday and met the parents of the victim who was raped and murdered by unknown persons.Addressing the media, he said the parents felt they did not get justice for the horror perpetrated on their daughter. They thought the police probe is proceeding at a snail's pace. "I believe police will do their duty," he said."I don't want to accuse police. But they have to speed up the investigation. This is important than general election," said Kamal. He said he asked for an appointment to meet the Inspector General of Police, West Zone. His visit was met with stiff resistance and he had to leave in a huff as her relatives, who were highly agitated , argued with him.
