Coimbatore district added 3264 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Monday, pushing the active cases tally past the 24,000 mark to 24,195.

The district`s total cases tally has mounted to 1,58,796.
The district`s cumulative death toll stands at 886 after 14 more people succumbed to the virus in the last few days.
Tamil Nadu reported 33,075 new cases and 335 deaths.
Chennai reported 6,150 new cases on Monday, After Chennai, Coimbatore had the second-highest number of 3124 cases in the state.
