Rare bird seen in Coimbatore

The Oriental dwarf kingfisher, commonly found in the broad-leaved canopy forest of the Western Ghats, has been spotted near a lake in Coimbatore. Vijay kumar Krishnamurthy had chanced upon the rare bird near the Krishnampathi lake. It is a forest bird.
