Mammography machine at AHRCC

CUTTACK: After a long wait, a mammography machine will be inaugurated by CM Naveen Patnaik at Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC) on Saturday.The Rs 1.73 crore machine, which is used to detect and diagnose breast cancer, had been lying idle at the state's only government-run cancer centre for the last month.AHRCC authorities have also decided to deploy special attendants to dress the wounds of the cancer patients and will pay them an incentive of Rs 500.
