DPS wins national quiz

In the senior category, DAV Chandrasekharpur emerged as champion and DAV Public School, CDA, Cuttack were the runners-up. Around 100 participants from the two BJEM schools participated in the competition inaugurated by chairman of the school Raghunath Mishra. Three students of DPS Kalinga, Bhubaneswar, Sovit Soumyakant Behera, Sachit Patnaik and Debaprava Sharma emerged winners in the zonal level of inter-DPS quiz competition 2018 held at DPS Newtown, Kolkata, last week. Renowned quiz master Bibhas Rath Attreya conducted the quiz.Debate at BJEMS: Confero, an inter-BJEMS debate competition was organised at Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium (BJEM) School. It was greatly appreciated by the 1,400 students and teachers of the school.

Three students of DPS Kalinga, Bhubaneswar, Sovit Soumyakant Behera, Sachit Patnaik and Debaprava Sharma emerged winners in the zonal level of inter-DPS quiz competition 2018 held at DPS Newtown, Kolkata, last week. They beat students of 20 other schools from the eastern zone and will participate in the national finals to be held at DPS Mathura Road, New Delhi.Puppet show: A puppet show was staged by Dolls Theatre, Kolkata, on Tuesday for students of SAI International School. The highly entertaining show, Taming of the Wild, was an amalgamation of visual and sound effects. It was greatly appreciated by the 1,400 students and teachers of the school. The theatre group is known to synthesize modern with the traditional. The event was introduced by The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth ( SPIC MACAY ).Inter-school quiz: The annual quiz competition of Sahodaya Schools Complex, Bhubaneswar, were organised at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, in which 25 schools participated in both junior and senior categories.
