Bhubaneswar : In its relentless endeavor to fight against COVID 19, Utkal Alumina International Ltd. Doraguda, a unit of Aditya Birla Group in Kashipur Block of Rayagada district is continuing their efforts through various initiatives to battle out COVID 19 in coordination with local community and local administration. For the last few weeks UAIL is persistently working along with all its stakeholders to battle out this Pandemic with all possible measures in a phased manner. In continuation to spraying of Sodium Hypochlorite UAIL is now fogging/fumigating all the surrounding villages. This will sanitize the village and will destroy all germs/pests like mosquitos, flies and other disease bearing insects which may spread community infection. The fogging/Fumigation has started on 30th March 2020 in peripheral village of UAIL like Dwimundi, Nuapada, Subsequently Bagrijhola, Bhitarmuskun. It will be done in Hadiguda today followed by Lachhuguda, Doraguda, Tikirapada, Kuchepadar, D Koral, Bilamal, Makkapadar, Sanamatikona, Gokulamunda, Ossapada, Haridaspur, Tikiri, Karanjakupakhal, Dhutrapas, Lundurukuna, Andirakanch, Paikakupakhal. “Every day we make a sincere effort to safeguard our community and people in the surrounding villages, as their safety and good health is our prime importance. In continuation to the spraying of Sodium Hypochlorite now fogging has started in the villages surrounding us, I believe with such efforts together we can fight against this pandemic COVID 19. ” Said Sri N.
