18-year-old Bishnupriya Swain becomes Cuttack's only female Zomato delivery agent after her father lost his job

Bishnupriya Swain, a class 12 student in Cuttack, Odisha, took the responsibility of feeding her family by delivering food after her father lost his job amid the pandemic.

The Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown took away jobs from many people. Bishnupriya Swain, a class 12 student in Cuttack, Odisha, took the responsibility of feeding her family by delivering food after her father lost his job amid the pandemic. Bishnupriya was also studying like all children before the Coronavirus outbreak but she never knew that one day she will be forced to leave her studies and work.

Bishnupriya`s age is only 18 years and she is a student of class 12th. She is the eldest child of her parents.

Bishnupriya Swain`s father, who lives in Cuttack, was a driver, but due to the Covid-19 lockdown, he suddenly lost his job, inviting serious financial problems for his family. Bishnupriya Swain decided that she would work in Zomato and she learned how to ride a bike first.

Vishnupriya has two younger sisters, who are still studying.

Initially, Bishnupriya used to go home and give tuitions but that too got closed due to the lockdown and it made things even worse. Bishnupriya is the first woman food delivery agent in Cuttack.

Bishnupriya Swain`s parents said that they have no son but, their daughters are also like sons to them.
