The Odisha government may announce the annual High School Certificate (HSC) or Class X board exam results by the last week of June. School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash gave this information on Sunday. He said, “The assessment process of class X students is going on and we expect the result to be declared in the last week of June as we had said earlier. All efforts are being made to adhere to the stipulated time frame.”
The exam result will be available for the candidates on the official site of BSE Odisha bseodisha.ac.in or bseodisha.nic.in. The official notification of the result date is also available on the official site of BSE Odisha.
Class Xth exams were not conducted because of the Covid-19 epidemic. The board had decided to prepare the result of class 10 board exam this year based on the performance of students in class 9, 10.
According to the notification released by the Odisha Board on the official website, the final result of class X students will be prepared based on marks obtained in class IX and X, The board will give 40 percent weightage to the highest marks obtained in class 9 exam in each subject and 60 percent weightage to class 10 practical tests. Out of the three practical tests conducted in class 10th, the two highest marks in all the subjects will be given a weightage of 30% each.
