Cuttack: Bridge connecting CTC-BBSR inaugurated

The bridge connects CDA in Cuttack to Trisulia. CUTTACK: The much awaited bridge on Kathajodi river connecting Cuttack and Bhubaneswar was inaugurated by chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday.The 2.88 km long bridge named after Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will reduce the distance between Cuttack and Bhubaneswar by 12 km and will also ease the pressure on the existing route connecting the two cities.The bridge, claimed to be the longest in the state on a river system, has been constructed at a cost of Rs 114 crore. The project was conceptualized in 2011.
