UPNL cancels employment of 22 candidates of non-Army background

However, we took action as they were neither ex-servicemen nor their kin,” said PPS Pahwa.Incidentally, the controversy erupted following a dispute over Piyush Aggarwal, son of assembly speaker Premchand Agarwal, getting the job of an assistant engineer in jal sansthan through UPNL, which administers the welfare of former soldiers and their kin and arranges for their re-employment in state government institutions.
