CM inaugurates 10-bed hospital at Kedarnath

We have also procured the necessary equipment to attend to high-altitude emergencies.”Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, CM Rawat said that the new hospital would be a shot in the arm for healthcare facilities at Kedarnath.After inaugurating the hospital, the CM also reviewed reconstruction works in the valley and facilities being provided to pilgrims on Char Dham route. Dehradun: In an attempt to boost medical facilities at the high-altitude Kedarnath shrine amid reports of soaring death toll during Char Dham yatra, chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated a 10-bed hospital in the temple town on Monday.Situated at an altitude of over 11,600 feet, the hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and eight doctors, including four specialists, would attend to patients.Rudraprayag district magistrate Mangesh Ghildiyal said, “There are 10 beds in the new hospital. A total of 20 personnel will cater to the needs of patients. We have appointed a cardiologist, gynaecologist, pulmonologist and general physician apart from four other doctors.
