Set up law univ by Aug

Nainital: The Uttarakhand high court on Tuesday directed the state government to set up National Law University in Rudrapur by August this year. The court also added that all the formalities related to the university should be completed within the specified timeframe. The court’s direction came while hearing a PIL filed by Mahendra Singh Pal, a former MP from Nainital, stating that no steps were taken to set up the university even though the state government had issued a notification for the establishment of the institution in June 2011.
